The Kaufman Test of Educational Achievement – Third Edition (KTEA-3; Kaufman & Kaufman, 2014) is an individually- administered, norm-referenced instrument that measures academic achievement for individuals from ages 4 years, 6 months through 25.

The Kaufman Test of Educational Achievement, often referred to as the KTEA, is a standardized assessment designed to measure an individual’s academic skills. It evaluates specific areas of learning, including reading, mathematics, written language, and oral language.

The Kaufman Test of Educational Achievement - Third Edition (KTEA-3) consists of subtests or measures that assess specific literacy skills.

Any child from age 4 through grade 3 may register for the Kaufman Test of Educational Achievement (KTEA Brief). In select circumstances (students without access to other testing, international students, etc.), older students may be eligible to participate.

The KTEA ™ – 3 is an individually administered measure of academic achievement for grades prekindergarten through 12, or ages 4 through 25. The test has two independent, parallel forms (A and B), covers a wide range of achievement and language domains, and provides error analysis capabilities.
